The Italian food tradition specifies a number of fundamentals when it comes to producing perfectly cooked pasta: the right water/pasta ratio, waiting for water to boil to add pasta, the right cooking time, draining well before adding sauce.
When designing the Dough.O.Mat automatic pasta cooker, Nilma bore all these factors in mind. Dough.O.Mat cooks in plenty of water (complying with the pasta/water ratio of 1/10), stirs pasta gently, and raises the basket to drain pasta automatically at the end of the cooking time. A pasta cooker so perfect and versatile that it can cook any type of pasta, including long and short shapes, to the highest standard, not to mention rice, ravioli, gnocchi, as well as quinoa, spelt and couscous.
Dough.O.Mat is produced in 6 gas, electric and steam models, with outputs of 7 to 60 kilograms of raw pasta per cycle.
